Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Pharmacy Technician 2 obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. The Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.

The Pharmacy Technician 2:

• Obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.

• Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.

• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.

• Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.

• Works at the OTC kiosk

• May operate a cash register.

Schedule: This is a per diem position totaling 8-32 hours per week. The hours at each location are 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail pharmacy tech experience
• Must exhibit exceptional patience and empathy in all patience interactions.
• Able to thrive in close-knit working environments, strong teamwork, and effective communication.
• Must have active license with the FL Board of Pharmacy
• Must have an active National Certification (PTCB), or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$40,000 - $52,300 per year
