Responsibilities

  • Execute essential floor care tasks, such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, communal areas, and offices.
  • Safely and efficiently operate floor care equipment.
  • Maintain records of floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to uphold a sanitary environment.
  • Engage positively with residents, staff, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous floor care experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and effectively communicate with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Must be capable of lifting/carrying a maximum of 50 pounds, pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions and execute routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • Residency within the service area required.
