Position: Floor ManagerDepartment: Food & Beverage

The RoleThe Food and Beverage Floor Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and efficient operations within the restaurant and bar outlets at our newest property, The Seeker. As the Floor Manager, you will work closely with James Beard Award-winning celebrity Chef Stephan Pyles, a 5th generation Texan and founding father of Southwestern Cuisine. You will be responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing teams, building relationships with guests, and providing personalized service while anticipating and fulfilling guests' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a restaurant ambassador, exceeding core objectives and values.
  • Act with an ownership mentality and full accountability for people, product, and profit.
  • Provide excellent, courteous, and professional service to guests while maintaining restaurant culture.
  • Ensure overall cleanliness and safety by performing opening and closing procedures.
  • Lead the team to surpass restaurant and bar targets, focusing on guest and team relations, efficiency, and revenue.
  • Contribute strategically to the development of the restaurant food and beverage outlets.
  • Set service standards, address issues, and coach the team to ensure the highest quality in all restaurant areas.
  • Oversee food quality, safety, and cleanliness by conducting checks and making necessary adjustments.
  • Solicit customer feedback, evaluate cost-effectiveness, and implement profit-enhancing measures.
  • Manage staffing, conduct performance assessments, develop guest relationships, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Ideal Candidate

  • 2-5+ years of hospitality leadership experience in a restaurant and bar, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in administrative tasks.
  • General knowledge of computer systems, PMS, POS, and Google Drive.
  • Leadership and customer service experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and people skills.
  • Professional and self-driven.
  • Deep understanding and appreciation of food and beverage culture, including trends, disruptors, behaviors, and complexities/opportunities.
  • Passionate about hospitality, service, food, and beverage.
