Benefits Available!Weekly Pay! $15.00/Hour SHIFT DETAILS: 5:00PM-1:30AMDESCRIPTION:Position SummaryResponsible for the floor care of all resilient flooring and carpet throughout the hospitalPerforms general HospitalityAssociate, Environmental Services I duties when needed. Major Responsibilities:QualityOperational knowledge of all floor equipment to include vacuums, burnishers, scrubbers, wet vans, carpetextractor, imp.Knowledge of floor procedures to include dust mopping, mopping, stripping, application of floor finish,burnishing.Operational knowledge of all floor chemicals used in the hospital.Operational knowledge of floor pads used for daily maintenance, burnishing, and stripping.Ensures proper signage is placed at the appropriate locations when hazards (i.ewet floor warnings) are plausible.Responsible for proper handling of all chemicals as well as following proper infection control policies and properPPE use.Demonstrates a knowledge of equipment used to maintain and clean floorsCan identify mechanical issues withthe equipment to be reported timely and appropriately.Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of flooring in patient and non-patient areas, offices, common areas,hallways, and common area rest rooms to a high standard.Maintains a daily, weekly and monthly floor maintenance schedule.Responsible for the care and cleaning of all floor equipment Service:Assumes accountability for promoting consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda ofunparalleled patient service.Maintains a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.Supports the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience.PeopleFoster a culture of commitment to the Client vision, mission, and values of the organizationParticipate in team and individual employee training .GrowthParticipate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry.FinanceEnsures that supplies are used as recommended by the label to ensure no waste of resources.
