Dealer/SupervisorRegular Full-TimeCripple Creek, CO, USSalary Range: Dual rate 11.40 plus tips for Dealer/$19.00 to 28.00 hourly for Supervisorwages and tips!)Shift: Thursday - Monday 6 PM - 2 AMTo manage and maintain a smooth, fun, and profitable Table Games operation. To operate the pit in compliance with the State of Colorado Limited Gaming Act and other applicable municipal, state, and federal laws or regulations. To maintain positive public relations confidently and diplomatically with casino customers and team members. To maintain and comply with safety and security standards.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes the use of safety equipment. Supervisors are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor of unsafe conditions, as directed.
  • Monitors live table games, staff, and table activity. Acts to reduce or eliminate mistakes, maintain enough chips in the trays, and ensure that both customers and dealers comply with gaming regulations. Ensures adherence to established rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervises and develops an effective staff by assisting and making recommendations in hiring, training, rewarding, and disciplining staff. Develops staff to meet and exceed performance expectations by establishing and maintaining positive work morale and effective employee relations.
  • Maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all customers and team members. Provides personal attention and assistance to customers. Acts to keep customers satisfied and motivated to return whether they win or lose.
  • Follows established security protocols to ensure that casino work environments are safe.
  • Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Welcomes seats and coordinates the service of other team members to ensure player's needs are met.
  • Presents a positive and helpful image to all casino employees and customers.
  • Supervises staff in developing and maintaining effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all customers and team members. Provides personal attention and assistance to customers, verifies customer winnings, and explains gaming rules and regulations, as necessary.
  • Always maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and general awareness of table operations. Keeps Table Games Manager or MOD informed of any concerns.
  • Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed, and directed.
  • Is familiar with all table game rules and supervises rule interpretation.
  • Supervises the training of all dealers.
  • Discuss any issues affecting the next supervisor before going off duty. Keeps the MOD informed of all issues concerning table game operations.
  • Completes entries in the pit log of any late, absent, or unusual circumstances regarding dealers.
  • Makes players' cards.
  • Fill out Blackjack rating cards and evaluate win or loss for the activity log.
  • Make entries in the Table Games activity log.
  • Reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work.
