Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of Gold Key|PHR hourly Associates:
- Operate heavy machinery such as a floor buffer.
- Use of specialized, power equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance check on all equipment prior to use.
- Floors care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells.
- Vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
- Wall cleaning in the areas where the floor equipment is used.
- Proper maintenance of floor care equipment.
- Clean designated areas in the prescribed manner while following safety & security procedures.
- Polish furniture & lamps inspecting proper working condition of items.
- Cleaning with proper chemicals & tools, inspecting all furniture for tears, rips & stains.
- Remove debris from designated public areas including emptying garbage containers, ash urns & trays.
- Dusting pictures, frames, mirrors & remove dust, dirt & smudges from baseboards, doors & doorframes.
- Ensure all telephones are clean & in working order.
- Use designated chemicals, supplies & equipment to clean various floor surfaces removing soil & dirt.
- Replace hand towels, soaps, facial & toilet tissues in public restrooms.
- Respond to guest requests & report any guest issues in a professional & efficient manner to Management.
- Maintain associate restrooms ensuring sinks, mirrors & bathroom stalls are at the highest standard of cleanliness & all garbage is properly disposed of.
- Successfully completes other duties as assigned.

- Respect the space. Keep your work area clean and organized. Report any deficiencies promptly to your Supervisor.

Qualifications: Type Qualification Skill
- Able to read, write & speak basic English.
- Able to understand & apply basic mathematical skills.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two- step instructions.
- Able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variation.
Education HS-GED-Work Programme - or Over seas equivalent is desired. Past work experience in a similar or commensurate skill set - hospitable, prison, military experience. Experience Demonstrated positive attitude & work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
