Conduct crossing guard duties for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon during the academic year. 2. Assist students, parents, and other pedestrians in safely crossing designated intersections near the educational facility. 3. Adhere to traffic control guidelines and ensure the smooth flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. 4. Maintain a visible and authoritative presence to deter unsafe behavior and promote a safe crossing environment. 5. Attend a short training session to familiarize yourself with the responsibilities and protocols. The official start date for the position will be in August 2024. 6. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor Qualifications: 1. Interest in education and a commitment to ensuring the safety of students and pedestrians. 2. Reliable and punctual. 3. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and drivers. 4. Ability to follow and enforce traffic control guidelines. 5. Must be available to start the position in August 2024. Compensation: $15 per hour - 20 hours per wekk FLSA Status: Non-exempt
