Foil Stamp Operator Trainee - WestRock : Job Details

INTRODUCTIONThis position is responsible for operating the foil stamp machine using job ticket specifications and within the company\u2019s and customer\u2019s guidelines. Provides leadership in operating machine and ensure quality product is produced.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperate and run Bobst foil stamper for value added cartonsMake ready machine to approvable standard with little to no supervisionCalculate and determine the amount of foil used on a jobDetermine make ready process for various substratesStart up and run at optimum efficiency levelsUnderstand and operate at quality standardsKnow, understand, and perform maintenance on machineIdentify, troubleshoot, and execute corrective action during productionDevelop and execute ideas for improvement to continually increase performance and quality of outputConsistently maintain organization of dies and make ready suppliesLead, direct, and train machine helpersPerforms other job duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in make ready, running, and maintaining foil stamper requiredBasic computer skillsAble to read and understand job ticketsMust pass color vision and color hue testBe able to identify and differentiate foil typesAbility to identify and correct problems on machine/substratesAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsMaintain a positive work environment, including respectful communication with peersAble to maintain good attendanceMust be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periodsMust be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodationEDUCATIONHigh school diploma preferredWestRock (NYSE:WRK) partners with our customers to provide differentiated paper and packaging solutions that help them win in the marketplace.
