About the Role: The Seawane Club seeks an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to lead front-of-house operations and elevate our dining services to new heights. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in training staff, managing beverage programs, collaborating on menu updates, and ensuring the highest service standards. This role is critical to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests, contributing to the club's distinguished reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead front-of-house training, fostering continuous staff development and excellence in service.
  • Manage and maintain beverage inventory, overseeing beverage-related events to ensure quality and member satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu updates, ensuring a harmonious blend of food and beverage offerings.
  • Provide platinum-level service to members, guests, and coworkers, upholding the club's commitment to excellence.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in all operational areas.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and Daily Pre-shifts to stay aligned with club objectives.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and Clubhouse Manager, contributing to the team's overall success.

Candidate Specifications: Key Selection Criteria Experience & Core Competencies:

  • Minimum of two years of hospitality industry experience, with a preference for private club settings; luxury hotel/resort experience considered.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, focusing on enhancing team performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of hospitality, food, wine, and service.
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional member experience and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Club POS software, particularly Club Essentials; banquet software experience is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Awareness of occupational hazards and ability to perform required roles in emergencies.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Pay range and compensation package:

  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience), plus bonus opportunities.
