The Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is looking for a Food & Beverage Coordinator who fully embodies our values, shares a passion for excellence, and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. As Food & Beverage Coordinator, you will be accountable for shaping the client experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotel. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager and Executive Chef.

BASIC PURPOSE: The Food and Beverage Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of food and beverage outlets, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the establishment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails in accordance with Four Seasons Standards and assist with calls for the Food & Beverage Division
* Type correspondence, reports, composition of letters, and memorandums; open, examine, sort, incoming mail and when appropriate gather information necessary for response; take and distribute departmental and divisional meeting minutes.
* Maintain files, schedules, and calendars for management members of the Food & Beverage Division; coordinate, set and confirm interviews and appointments.
* Assist in completing special projects which may include mailings, competitive surveys, menus, or other assigned duties; maintain and order office supplies.
* Maintain policy and standard manuals; update and distribute as necessary.
* Support the Food & Beverage Management team in: sourcing products, create vendors and PO's and track deliveries, create regular requisitions and assist with inventories
* Assist with local printing such as buffet labels, recipes, special event menus, guest requests, food and beverage tastings
* Assist in taking reservations for all special events (Thanksgiving, Holidays)
* Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
* Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
DAILY TASKS INCLUDE:
* Payroll and payroll packets and correlating forms
* Extra pays, Tip sheet
* Collection of employee time off related forms
* Teams channels responded to and folders updated daily ( ie. AIR updates)
* Ordering for IRD and culinary
* ADP punches
* Finalizing all labels and stationary needs for BEOS
* Amenity Tracker updates
* Special Buys & Rider items
* Inventory review and departmental purchases
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Attending various meetings (Ops, Labor ...).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education: High school education or equivalent experience
Experience: Previous experience in Food & Beverage
operations, preferably in a coordinator role or
related position with Four Seasons or other
organizations.
Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with the leadership team, colleagues and vendors. Ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Requires ability to operate computer equipment. UniFocus, ADP and Open Table systems knowledge preferred.
Hourly Rate of pay- $30-$33 per hour
