Family-owned and operated, Mirbeau Inn and Spa is a nationally renowned destination resort brand.Job SummaryMirbeau Inn & Spa is looking to add a Food and Beverage Supervisor to the Wine Bar & Bistro. This role will assist our Food and Beverage team in providing the exceptional guest experience that Mirbeau is known for. Experience in a high-end or fine dining setting is highly preferred.Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service team to meet and exceed all guest needs and expectations.
- Ensure prompt and efficient service of all meals and beverages.
- Constantly monitor staff appearance, attitude, and degree of professionalism to ensure their strict adherence to Mirbeau standards of quality service.
- Adjust staffing levels as business volume warrants.
- Maintain and review the reservations in the Bistro and Dining Room.
- Complete knowledge of current packages to include Spa Packages with dining elements.
- Attend staff meetings, events and other functions required by management.
- Promote good public relations and handle complaints and concerns of guests.
- Recognize and address potential intoxicated, disruptive, or desirable guests.
- Properly handle and report all guest accidents and respond properly to any emergency or safety situation.
- Utilize the computer system in ringing sales, printing checks, closing checks, and completing closing readings.
- Oversight of the Bistro Dining room Operations and Aqua Terrace to ensure polite, genuine, gracious, and timely service during lunch and dinner.
- Assist in the implementation of structured training programs and frequent meetings with all FOH staff.
- Resort Suite expertise in billing, properly closing of checks, entering of new menu items and daily y functions.
- Organize and keep clean service areas.
- Training and testing of service protocols.
- Responsible for assisting in creating the weekly schedule for Dining Room Bistro and Aqua Terrace.
Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements This position requires an Associate's degree in the restaurant/food service industry or at least 3 years prior experience as a Supervisor or Manager of a high volume and fine dining property, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
