Job Description :
Under the direction of the Center Coordinator, the Food Bank Coordinator oversees the operations of the Food Bank operations, including but not limited to recruiting, training, and coordinating of volunteers, purchasing, restocking, ordering, preparing food, overseeing costs and quality control, coordination of food deliveries, monthly statistics and reports as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate a commitment to the values of equity and inclusion by honoring diverse characteristics and expressions of personal identity. Screen clients for emergency referrals as appropriate Maintain the highest level of food program standards, including but not limited to maintaining WA food health and safety standards and compliance with grants and contracts. Maintains food inventory with FIFO standards. Placing orders with vendors, purchasing food and non-food items from local stores, and procuring and managing donated food.
