Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $13.75 - $13.75 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Food Handler:

• Prepare and set up serving areas with necessary supplies, utensils, and food items

• Serve meals to students and staff following portion guidelines

• Operate kitchen equipment safely including warmers, ovens, and dishwashers

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving line, and dining areas

• Follow all food safety protocols and health department regulations

• Maintain proper food temperature and storage requirements

• Assist with inventory and stocking of food supplies

• Clean dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment throughout service periods

• Follow all company safety procedures and security policies

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and friendly demeanor

• Welcome students and staff with a positive attitude

• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff and coworkers

• Support team efforts to provide efficient meal service

• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Prior food service experience preferred

• Knowledge of basic food safety practices

• Ability to work efficiently during busy meal periods

• Attention to detail with food preparation and serving

• Professional appearance and good personal hygiene

• Positive attitude when interacting with students and staff

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance

• Stand for extended periods during meal service

• Background check required
