The Elmwood Park Community Food Pantry is seeking volunteers to work from **930-1230 every Saturday.**

The Food Pantry is open to assist those who are suffering from food insecurity that has become magnified during this time of COVID-19.

This role does involve Covid compliant contact with our guests. At this time masks are required.

The pantry model employed at EPCFP is one in which the guests shop the food items available. The pace of work in the pantry is very fast paced and volunteers need to have the ability to be on their feet the entire 3 hours.

Volunteers are needed to guide the flow of the guests, help guests with retrieving food from freezers or refrigerators and assure that the shelves are filled with all available food products through out the morning. If physically able, volunteers may be asked to assist guests by carrying food to their cars. After the pantry is closed to guests the volunteers remain until 12:30 PM to restock shelves/freezers/refrigerators.
