Food Preparation Workers - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our Client, a food distribution company, is looking for Food Preparation Workers to join their team in Bay Shore, NY. You will be responsible for managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials (meats) into finished goods (ready-to-cook meals and recipes). This is a temporary position, with possibility of going permanent according to work performance and attendance. This is a physical role, requires lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.

Job Title:Food Preparation Workers

Location: Bay Shore, NY

Pay Range: $17 - $17.24 per hours

Available shifts (Monday to Friday):

• 1st shift: 4:45am to 1:15pm with 30 min lunch break
• 2nd shift: 1:30pm to 10:15pm with 45 minutes lunch break

What's the Job?

• Move bins of raw meats to the tumbling machine for marinating.
• Prepare and assemble packages for distribution.
• Shovel raw materials in a refrigeration room/cold environment.
• Perform standard food service tasks, including sanitation duties and various serving responsibilities.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• At least 2 years of experience handling food required, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work on low temperatures or in a freezer area.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs.
