Food for Thought is hiring! We have an opening for a full-time, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Food Production Associate.

What we offer: The opportunity to join a small team of doers responsible for the daily production and operations of the Food for Thought brand of products. What you'll do: The Food Production Associate operates and maintains food manufacturing equipment along with packaging product to ensure our customers receive the highest quality food and products to support a healthy food culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and maintain food manufacturing equipment properly by ensuring quality and production standards are met, equipment runs safely, and cleaned to specifications while following safety guidelines and procedures.
• Inspects product and packages the products into boxes, wrapping and labeling for shipping in a safe and productive manner that ensures customers receive shipments undamaged and ready for consumption.
• Complete data and record entries in an accurate manner to ensure the tracking and transparency of our food products.
• Work in a team setting rotating between stations practicing good ergonomics.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be punctual, reliable and self-motivated.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits:

We provide a competitive wage range of $18-21 per hour.
