We are seeking a full-time Food Runner to join our team at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. Job Description: A Food Runner is responsible for servicing the guests, assisting with functions for server, delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously, and efficiently, as well as assisting in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment and providing lateral service when necessary. Exemplifies the values and beliefs of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.QUALIFICATIONS: Essential:

Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.

Ability to provide legible communication.

Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

SKILLS: Essential:

Ability to understand guest's service needs.

Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service several guests within any given period of time. (transport food items to the bar, dining room in timely manner and also to the lounge as needed.)

Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.

Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

Ability to check the food chit and serve food to guests without asking.
