Food Safety Sanitation Technician- PM Shift 12 Hours - Berner Food & Beverage, LLC : Job Details

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:Perform and verify all sanitation duties and documentation as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule. Coordinate with the sanitation crews/team members, and assist in designating scheduled line downtime tasks as a priority. Vast knowledge of plant chemistry and required chemical safety. Demonstrated knowledge of both wet and dry-cleaning methodologies. Knowledge of CIP circuit components and ability to perform CIP operations. Assisting operations in P.E.C. teardowns and scheduled downtime-cleaning events. Assist with equipment cleaning validations on a scheduled basis. Maintain sufficient chemical inventory in the storage areas and verify the operation of chemical dispensing equipment. Working knowledge of food safety and ability to coach others. Responsible for assisting all areas in maintaining high levels of daily cleanliness and adherence to site GMPs. Prioritize work on a daily basis by identifying pressing issues, through communication, knowing shift production plans, andawareness of the area. Promote a high-quality team environment through effective teamwork and self-management with a positive attitude. Knowledge of PEM, Non-PEM, Environmental Air Monitoring, Water Micro, and IPM programs. The ability to work with all teams at the site on Sanitation, Pest Control, and housekeeping projects. Assist in the development of new sanitation operators. Assist with plant start-up sanitation projects and trials. Assist in training all new sanitation operators and production employees pertaining to sanitation. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Training, Education & Experience:- Team player- Action-oriented- Problem-solving abilities- Strong communication skills- Continuous self-development- Be 18 years of age or older- Have a High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education- Strong problem-solving skills.- Ability to plan work on a daily basis, work independently and be a self-starter and a highly motivated individualPreferred Qualifications:2 years of work experience within a sanitation department is preferred.Berner Food and Beverage will provide on-the-job training. Must be to walk and/or stand for 8-12 hours. Ability to work with and in warm temperatures. Ability to walk and maintain potential wet surfaces.
