Murdoch Developmental Center is accepting applications for full time Food Service Assistant positions for all cottages (excluding main kitchen). The working hours are either 8:00am - 5:00pm, 5:00am - 1:30pm, 5:30am - 2:00pm, 10:00am - 6:30pm, or 10:30am - 7:00pm including every other weekend and some holidays. Flexibility is required to meet training requirements and facility needs.Food Service Assistant - PART TIMEAs of June 1, 2023, the new salary range will be $15,600 - $23,496!!!Murdoch Developmental Center is accepting applications for Permanent Part-Time Food Service Assistant positions for all cottages (excluding the main kitchen). The working hours are either 6:30am - 10:30am or 3:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. with a rotating 7-day schedule which includes two leave days per week and rotating holidays. Flexibility is required to meet training requirements and facility needs. These positions are designated Mandatory and must report or stay overnight during adverse weather events.Full-time positions are eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance, paid sick/vacation/holidays, retirement, etc.Responsibilities:
- Platting resident meals based on dietary cards
- Preparing beverages based on dietary cards
- Loading trays into food carts and delivery food carts to dining units
- Clean and sanitize dining rooms and kitchen areas, wash and sanitizing dishes, and disposing waste/trash
- Label and store food/beverages based on food storage guidelines
- Assist with ordering of food items, as requested
- Reporting failure of equipment
- Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
