Murdoch Developmental Center is accepting applications for permanent full time Food Service Assistant positions in the main kitchen. The working hours are either 8:00am - 5:00pm or 5:00am - 1:30pm with a rotating 7 day schedule which includes two leave days per week and rotating holidays. Flexibility is required to meet training requirements and facility needs.Responsibilities:* assist higher level personnel in preparation and or service of food as well as cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.* accurate portioning and serving of food as well as maintaining high sanitation standards in their assigned work areas.* assistants to higher level food service personnel in areas of cooking, preparing cold food items, driving the food truck, etc.* work is reviewed by a higher level employee for adherence to sanitation standards and completion of assignments.Position: multipleThis is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance, paid sick/vacation/holidays, retirement, etc.About Murdoch Developmental Center:Murdoch Developmental Center is a 24/7 state residential facility located in Butner, NC, near the Research Triangle area.
