Benefits COMPENSATIONAll school level support employees will be paid on the 15th of each month. The annual salary is paid over a period of twelve months. INSURANCEAs a full time employee in the Henry County School System, you will be eligible for enrollment in the state health, dental and vision insurance plans. All full-time employees are also eligible for voluntary products such as life insurance, disability, cancer policies which are offered during the open enrollment period annually.RETIREMENTFull time support employees contribute 5% of their monthly gross salary, 6 months after their beginning employment date in to the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System. Henry County School System contributes 5% toward this plan each month.SICK LEAVEFull time food service employees will earn 9 days of sick leave each school year. Unused sick leave may be accumulated year after year. Unused sick leave will count towards service time at retirement.
