Job Description:Cafeteria Manager/School Chef JobID: 1426* Position Type:Cafeteria /Cafeteria Manager* Date Posted:3/19/2024* General Responsibilities:Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and supervising the provisioning, operation, and function of a small food service facility (cafeteria).Duties and Responsibilities:* Plan, coordinate, assign, oversee and participate as required in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food; preparing and maintaining necessary records and files.* Open kitchen, set up equipment, prepare cafeteria for serving.* Maintain accurate food service records.* Maintain a sanitary facility.* Monitor the maintenance of all machinery and equipment.* Receive, check, and sign for food delivered to the school.* Perform related work as required.Competencies and Qualifications:* High school diploma or GED* Experience in school food services or other food services* ServSafe Food Manager certification required* Team player* Values children and colleagues* Positive* Patient* Flexible* Problem solverPhysical Requirements:Walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling.
