FOOD SERVICE TRANSPORTER - Blessing Health System : Job Details

This position is responsible for performing a variety of patient service and non-patient related tasks. These tasks include the transport and delivery of food and supplies to satellite locations and the inventorying, ordering and storing of food and supplies. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital. The Transporter position is responsible for performing a variety of patient and non-patient related tasks including the following: Push a cart filled with various supplies to stock refrigerators and cabinets with food and nonfood items on the patient units and record stocked items.
