Come join the DMVA team, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Food Service Worker 1, you will perform routine work in the preparation of meals and sanitation of food preparation and serving areas at the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home. Key duties of the position include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, work surfaces, and other kitchen items. You will be responsible for preparing trays; measuring portions; serving food; and transporting trays, carts, and nourishment. Kitchen safety practices must be carefully followed when using equipment such as mixers, dicers, slicers, knives, and grinders.Interested in learning more?
