YOUR WORK DUTIES
You will be preparing ingredients that go into meals for both patients and staff while also handling equipment in the Nutrition and Food Service department. You will also perform specific tasks in the kitchen and dish room areas ensuring patients are receiving the highest quality of care possible at IRMC. Promotes and adheres to the IRMC core values of ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) and G.R.E.A.T. (greet/respond/explain/ask/thank) customer service standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be:
* Providing a supporting role in meal production and presentation as well as meal service and cleanup
* Providing support and overage in all areas as needed
* Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions, recipes, and food labels

* EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent
* EXPERIENCE:
* Institutional kitchen experience preferred
* Experience with institutional production and food safety techniques helpful
