Food Service Worker (Cashier/Dishwasher/Server)Responsible to: Kitchen ManagerJob Summary: Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager, the Food Service Worker fulfills various tasks essential to the daily functioning of the Food Service program.Responsibilities includes the following, but not limited to:
- Collaborate as a team member by actively participating in food preparation and daily production of breakfast, lunch, snacks, encompassing tasks such as prepping, cooking, serving, cleaning, and more.
- Prepare food according to the planned menu and standardized
- Serve accurate portions of each product in adherence to the National School Lunch and Breakfast Nutrition
- Understand and comply with the requirements of a reimbursable
- Assist in the daily cleaning of all kitchen areas, including washing and sanitizing serving, prepping, and storage
- Keep accurate records as instructed, including but not limited to Adults and Students without accounts in Point of Sale, Production Records, Temperature Logs, and Cash
- Assist in cleaning kitchen and storage areas at intervals during the year as directed by the Kitchen
- Work efficiently and precisely under
- Adhere to all HACCP regulations for sanitation, food handling, and
- Email must be checked, at a minimum, once a
- Maintain positive working relations with colleagues, demonstrating consideration, patience, respect, and self-control.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Food Service
- Report to the assigned school to substitute as needed or directed by the Food Service
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift cases up to 40 pounds and carry them from storage areas to work
