Food Service Worker - Commonwealth of Kentucky : Job Details

Located in the beautiful mountains of Southeastern Kentucky, the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center (EKVC) is a 120 bed long-term care facility providing skilled nursing care and rehabilitation for Kentucky veterans. EKVC is operated by the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs and was built for the sole purpose of taking care of Kentucky Veterans. The Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center is looking for a self- motivated, energetic Food Service Worker who possesses the skills, knowledge, and desire to be a part of our team. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Assists in serving palatable/appetizing meals in an efficient and timely manner to our 120 veterans Assists in preparing meals for large groups of people in an institutional setting in accordance with diversified menus and special diet requirements. Maintains kitchen work areas, ensuring unscheduled and scheduled cleaning and sanitizing is completed.
