Food Technologist/Quality Assurance - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a Food Technologist to join their team. As a Food Technologist, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Technologist

Location: Tappan, NY

Pay Range:$28.00/hr.Shift: 2nd Shift- Monday-Friday- 4:00pm-2:00am (Some Saturdays Possible)Temp-Perm Opportunity

What's the Job?

• Enforce HACCP, GMPs, and Food Safety & Security plans/procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct routine facility walkthroughs and communicate findings to the Quality Control Manager.
• Perform pre-operational, operational, and post-operation checks daily.
• Analyze product quality and conduct sensory evaluations to ensure standards are met.
• Supervise and train production employees on food safety and quality procedures.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field Preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of work-related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
