Salary: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour Full Job Description Bingham Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Foreman to manage the onsite execution of plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet our high-quality standards. The Foreman will work closely with the Project Manager, crew members, and General Contractor or Construction Manager (GC/CM) to ensure smooth operations, clear communication, and a successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in mentoring journeyman plumbers and apprentices, helping them grow in their roles. We pride ourselves on maintaining strong relationships with Owners, General Contractors, and Subcontractors, creating a team environment to ensure project success. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering Projects on Budget and on Schedule:
    • Attend project orientation and weekly coordination meetings with the GC/CM Superintendent to gain full understanding of project goals.
    • Set and communicate weekly goals with crew members and the Project Manager.
    • Ensure tools and materials are prepped in advance to keep tasks on schedule.
    • Work alongside the crew to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within the project timeline.
    • Proactively address deficiencies to avoid delays and rework.
    • Manage jobsite inventory, change orders, and ensure proper use of the RFI process to prevent delays or cost escalation.
    • Complete projects using the Project Closeout Checklist.
  • Customer Service (Owner, General Contractor, or Construction Manager):
    • Handle all customer inquiries related to project timelines, work scope, and design by referring them to the Project Manager.
    • Provide weekly updates on customer interactions to the Project Manager.
    • Ensure a clean, organized, and secure jobsite that meets the expectations of both the client and Bingham Mechanical management.
  • Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Participate actively in the employee evaluation process, setting goals for improvement and development.
    • Follow up on evaluation goals with your supervisor as needed.
  • Maintain an Active Journeyman License:
    • Ensure journeyman license remains up to date with state requirements.
    • Complete any necessary continuing education.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Active journeyman license
  • Proven leadership experience in managing crews on construction projects.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, coordinating tasks, and managing project materials.
  • Experience with construction safety protocols and managing project documentation.
  • Ability to mentor and train journeyman plumbers and apprentices.
  • A current and valid driver's license is required for this position.
