Position Title: Foreman, Large Water SystemsPosition Summary: Responsible for all facets of water distribution and where applicable treatment systems, including but not limited to system operation & maintenance, direction of supporting staff and interaction with client and the public. Responsibilities: •Adhere to and support the Company's Code of Conduct and Safety 24/7 culture. •Provides leadership guidance and direction to assigned treatment and distribution operations staff. •Oversees excavations and repairs to water system appurtenances including but not limited to water mains, services, hydrants, watershed, and related facilities/equipment and meters. •Oversees, directs and when necessary, performs new install and repair to existing services and equipment. •Oversees, directs and when necessary, perform inspections at pump station locations throughout the system, including recording daily flows, pressures, and chemical treatment residuals to monitor and adjust water quality. •Oversees, directs and when necessary, inspects and reads water consumption meters throughout the surrounding area, indicates irregularities and damages for necessary corrective action. •Oversees, directs and when necessary, completes required compliance and billing paperwork for submission to regulators and client. •Oversees, directs and when necessary, reviews, analyzes, interprets, and responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Presents information to management and when required public groups. •Regularly available for support and oversight related to on-call and emergency response and when needed backup for assigned staff coverage. Supervisory Responsibilities: •Supervises, coordinates, and directs the work of treatment and distribution operators. Requirements: •High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •7+ years' experience in similar field, or combination of experience and additional licensing. •Full Status Grade III or higher MA Drinking Water License. •Cross Connection Surveying and testing certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. •Basic Computer skills.•U.S. Driver's License.•OSHA 10 (Company provided training) For more than 40 years, WhiteWater has been managing, operating, and maintaining municipal and private water and wastewater facilities throughout the northeast with pride and professionalism.
