PLEASE UPLOAD HS DIPLOMA/GED, TX DRIVER LICENSE AND RESUMEREQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required in English;
  • Three (3) years minimum supervisory experience;
  • Five (5) years minimum work experience in area of specialization. A valid Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • Journeyman License in respective field. (Electrical Field)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans, organizes, and directs all work required to complete assigned work projects, such as: construction, remodeling or renovation projects, cleaning, and maintenance of buildings or grounds maintenance. Plans and orders all materials, supplies, and tools required to perform all work assignments. Inspects work areas to determine type of work required and materials and equipment to be used. Reads and comprehends blueprints and specifications. Directs workers and ensures good quality of craftsmanship in work; assures that subordinates wear safety equipment. Supervises all work in order to comply with local building codes, fire codes, and all laws related to the American with Disabilities Act, Asbestos, and Health Laws. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Interprets job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performances, and quality of finished product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems; initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records. Evaluates all personnel and deals with any personnel issues, problems, and/or conflicts. Works well with supervisors, other foreman, and subordinates to demonstrate good and effective leadership qualities. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Drives District vehicles to and from work site; obeys all traffic laws. Strives continually to promote the safety, health and comfort of students and employees in performance of duties. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all district employees. Maintains professional growth by attending inservices and meetings, as requested/required. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Director.
