Experience Required:As a Foreman Painter, you will lead a team of painters and apprentices while working hands-on at job sites. Your role includes:
  • Proficient use of painting tools, including conventional spray guns, airless sprayers, and HVLP sprayers.
  • Experience in color matching and knowledge of various paint products and their applications.
  • Ability to manage worksite setup, safety, and cleanup.
  • Knowledge of painting safety standards, including ladder safety, PPE, and mobile worksites.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:The Foreman Painter is responsible for all aspects of painting, coatings application, maintenance, and minor repair of buildings and structures. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Project Management:
    • Ensure projects are completed within the allowable time and budget.
    • Create and sell change orders to customers, ensuring changes are clearly communicated to both the customer and the team.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and the operations team.
    • Lead and develop the painting team by working alongside painters and apprentices.
  • Painting Preparation and Application:
    • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming for an optimal finish.
    • Apply paint and coatings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Safety and Training:
    • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to the company's safety philosophy.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand, bend, twist, kneel, or crouch for long periods.
  • Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles (up to 22 ft).
  • Frequently lift items up to 60 lbs.
  • Work in physically demanding conditions.
Compensation:
  • Hourly Rate: $20-$30 DOE (Dependent on Experience).
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a weekly payday.
  • Benefits:
