Fork Lift Operator Live-C6 - COASTAL PROCESSING, LLC : Job Details

DescriptionPurpose/Scope:

• To transport live birds in cages from a flat bed trailer to the back dock dump system, and empty cages back onto flat bed trailer with a forklift.
• Help in live hang area as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unload and transport cages of live birds from flat bed trailer to dump system on back dock.
• Position cages on back dock dump system and trailers correctly.
• Transport empty cages back to flat bed trailer from the dump system on back dock.
• Coordinates with Cage Dump Operator.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines of the Company.

Qualifications: (Required/Desired)Skills & knowledge needed for the effective performance of essential job functions:Qualified to operate a forklift.

• Qualified to operate forklift
• Able to work at a consistent steady pace
• Good hand and eye coordination

Physical requirements:

• Stand duration of shift - all scheduled hours.
• Workable use of both hands and able to grasp.
• Good eye sight (with or without corrective lens).
• Able to perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to reach, bend, push, pull, and stoup.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly.

Environmental conditions:

• Warm to hot temperatures, wet, dirty, and dusty environment.
• Moderate to loud sound levels.
