Job Description :
Position Purpose: Support the Warehouse Department through the movement of raw materials, finished product, crated equipment, pallets, etc. accurately and efficiently through the facility. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Operating a forklift, electric pallet jack, stand-up forklift, barrel lift, and a turret truck Operate the stretch wrapper and properly label the finished product and verify the information is accurate by placing employee number on finished good label for verification Identify through IQMS computer system and physical labeling system proper materials for use and for shipment and product staging. Operate all required systems needed to perform daily job tasks, including handheld scanner (IQMS, IQRF, H Row, Pallet Wrapper, etc.). Inspect inbound and outbound trailers for quality receipt and shipment of goods. Complete documentation in a timely manner with accurate information. Complete all pick tickets and clear staging area for all products that need put away. Completing all staging alerts for production efficiency for the entire shift to include prep for shift change. Receiving and shipping inbound and outbound trucks. Count, verify, and put away returns to stock items(inserts & color) Stage orders for shipment Conducting daily PMs on all operating equipment and complete daily safety/PM sign off sheet on equipment used during the shift. (forklift, standup forklift, turret truck) Maintain a clean and orderly work area. (Place trash in appropriate bins to include sweeping) Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications: Must have proficiency with computers and RF scanning. One to three of years' experience in Shipping and Receiving in a manufacturing environment. Ability to effectively function in a broad-based, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision. Experienced in driving material handling equipment. The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English is a requirement. Must be able to fluently speak English. Skills/Abilities: High school graduate or equivalent preferred Experience: One year preferred Ability to effectively function in a broad-based, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with strong interpersonal skills. Additionally, follow verbal and written instructions in English Basic Data Entry Skills, Basic Math Skills, Ability to Read and Write, Good Reasoning, Analytical, and Problem-Solving skills Ability to be considered future for promotional opportunities Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be on their feet all day; standing, stooping, squatting, and reaching can be expected along with the lifting of up to 30 lbs. boxes of raw materials and finished goods.Quality Standards: Must comply with all plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF). Safety: Proper use of all safety equipment (i.e., proper use of personal protective gear including hair net, beard net, gloves, hearing protection, and safety glasses) Proactive approach to safety and accident avoidance Maintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance).#IND12nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
