Forklift Driver - Winnebago Industries : Job Details

Working as a member of the Helm Department, the Forklift Driver is an integral part of processes at Barletta. The role is responsible for loading/unloading trucks and moving and placing helms throughout the facility while following all safety policies and procedures. Individuals in this role must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, and be able to work in heat, rain, and snow. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a forklift in a safe manner
• Load and unload trucks
• Place materials in proper areas and maintain organization
• Deliver necessary products to all areas of the facility as requested
• Empty hoppers when needed
• Perform daily safety checks and basic preventative maintenance on the forklifts
• Ability to respond quickly to numerous requests in a fast-paced work environment
• Assignments given by supervisor as required
• Support a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 5 years of proven experience driving a forklift
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, push & pull for 8+ hours and lift upward of 50 lbs
• Ability to adapt to climate, inside and outside
• Must display good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to follow policies and procedures and wear required PPE
• Must be able to multi-task while remaining calm under pressure
• Ability to work hours as required by management
