POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Forklift Driver is responsible for preparing merchandise and securing it for safe, easy transport, communicating with leadership to determine priorities, and performing regular machine maintenance on forklifts.
LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK's off-site location in Moorpark, California.
SHIFT: Must be willing to work either day and/or night shift; 12 hours per day 2/2/3 Schedule; business critical schedules may arise.BENEFITS: The well-being of our team members is critically important to us. As part of this commitment, we offer:

RESPONSIBILITIES - Unloads and loads trucks safely and timely to serve our customers.
- Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedules and scheduling deliveries to the production area.
- Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; secures pallets on the truck; moves pallets to the production location.
- Maintains inventory in the production area by anticipating and tracking usage. Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.
- Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets and moving empty pallets.
- Documents actions by logging supplies, materials, and finished goods movements.
- Maintains a safe work environment by watching out for pedestrian traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with safety / legal regulations.
- Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Interacts and maintains positive relationships with all levels of leadership.
- Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management.
- Compliant with all safety rules and regulations, GMP's, and all DrinkPAK's policies and procedures
- Establishes and maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping, and productivity.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma required; Associate degree+ preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Field or similar manufacturing/warehouse environment; 2 years preferred in Forklift position.
- Forklift Certification is required.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
- Proven ability to safely operate a sit-down motorized forklift.
- Ability to navigate within a WMS system.
- Must have a full understanding of the operations of a Forklift (electrical or Propane)

- Physically demanding role including, but not limited to, lifting up to 35 pounds, sitting for extended periods of time, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and frequent climbing into and out of vehicles and trailers.
- Requires using hands to climb into and out of vehicles and trailers, control or feel objects, tools, or controls, hook and unhook connections, raise and lower landing gear, and open and close trailer and container doors.
- The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and is frequently required to sit.
Base Hourly Compensation Range: $23.00 per hour / $2.00 per hour night shift differential
