The position of Warehouser is responsible for acquiring and safely maintaining the Facility Forklift Certification. Receives, ships, transfers and stores raw materials, packaging materials and finished products in a safe and organized manner. Maintains the quality of perishable items and inventories all warehoused goods accurately and timely into system. Supplies packaging and processing areas with supplies as needed to ensure continuous production. - Performs daily inspection of all PPE required including but not limited to SLIP-RESISTANT/STEEL-TOED SHOES, safety glasses, gloves, shields and aprons to ensure good overall condition of items that provide optimal personal safety & protection while working in the facility.
- If required for assigned tasks, successfully acquires and maintains Lock Out-Tag Out Certification for machine and safely performs all functions in accordance to OHSA and company requirements and standards.
- As required, performs daily inspection of any applicable power equipment with proper documentation.
- As a member of the T. Marzetti Company, completes his/her Behavior Based Safety Observations (BBSO), corrects issues when identified, and participates in problem solving.

- Leads and promotes a strong Food Safety Culture within the facility
- Completes his/her Behavior Based Quality observations (BBQs), corrects issues when identified and participates in problem solving.
- Ensures compliance to quality, Food Safety Preventive Control (FSPC), FSMA, Food Defense, , OSHA and other support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards.
- Reviews, understands, and complies with all applicable SOPs containing Process or Preventive Control monitoring or verification, if trained and designated as a Qualified Individual (QI).
- Communicates any concerns related to product safety, integrity, quality and legality to management or to the confidential hotline if the need for anonymity is necessary.

- Ensures receipt of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
- Replenishes supplies of packaging and raw materials to production areas as needed.
- Unloads inbound materials and inspects containers for damage and documents accurately.
- Stores all bulk warehoused items safely and accurately in designated areas.
- Returns production materials to appropriate warehouse racks after use.
- Wraps and prepares finished product pallets for shipping.
- Rotates raw and packaging materials upon receipt and when returning to storage after use.
- Ensures all raw materials containers are properly labeled, stored appropriately and inventoried in system accurately.
- Identifies products to be shipped, verifies label and codes, loads appropriate amount onto trucks to be shipped.
- Enters information for inventory of products corresponding to amount received and shipped accurately and timely using computer equipment.
- Determines labeling requirements and ensures accuracy.
- Seals trailers for shipment after product loaded and final verification process completed.
- Effectively and thoroughly trains new and current employees on proper procedures and functions of position.
- Fills in for other Warehousers when necessary.
- Regular Attendance is required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures.
- Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management
Complete initial/annual training to ensure the individual is properly qualified (QI) to perform all required job tasks as outlined in training programs/records. Qualifications
- Must be able to successfully obtain industrial truck and lift operating certification and safely maintain per company and OSHA standards.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively - verbally & written - to Team Members, Management, Customers and Vendors.
- Basic mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of computer and scanning inventory systems and good math skills are required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in operating hi-lo, fork truck, power jack and shrink wrap equipment in a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to read & interpret written & verbal direction while working in a safe, effective & productive manner within a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma preferred
