Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Material Handler to assist with decommissioning fencing on-site at an Amazon Airport Hub. This position involves disassembling, packing parts, and shipping out materials. The role is straightforward and easy to learn, but reliable attendance is crucial.ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift truck efficiently and safely.Disassemble perimeter fences and packing stations.Pack up robots and palletize items.Prepare materials for shipping, recycling, or trash removal.Use hand and power tools to complete tasks.Load and unload products from trucks.Ensure attention to detail in all tasks.Essential SkillsWarehouse and general material handling experience.Forklift operation experience.Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to handle heavy lifting.Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks.Attention to detail.Experience in construction, carpentry, industrial repair, assembly, mechanical tasks, and general labor.Additional Skills & QualificationsValid forklift certification.Experience with pallet jacks.Skills in blueprint reading, quality assurance, inventory management, data entry, installation, mechanical assembly, and electrical tasks.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team working in a large, active Amazon Air Hub Facility.
