Exciting Opportunity to become a Forklift Operator! Staffmark is actively seeking a Forklift Operator for a local logistics company in Palmyra, MO. Don't let this chance slip by-apply now and elevate your career!Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Rotating Saturday Shift Required)Pay: $21/hrIn this position, you will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to efficiently handle, stack, and transport products, equipment, and materials. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Accurately using handheld scanners
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Keeping the workspace clean in accordance with the 7S program
• Adhering to process excellence and Supply Chain quality standards
• Assisting with inbound receiving processes to support warehouse operations

What You Need to Succeed:

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
• Certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
• Flexibility for scheduling, including potential overtime
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and over 75 lbs occasionally
• Comfort managing items of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Willingness to perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, and twisting
• Stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
• Proficient use of hands and fingers for operating tools and equipment
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
• Tolerance for strong odors from certain products
