FORKLIFT OPERATOR - Compunnel : Job Details

Description:Responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered tools and vehicles. Operate industrial vehicles and equipment. Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area. Load andunload designated trailers and/or route trucks. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Move product and/or materials manually as required. Skills/ Requirements High School diploma or GED preferred. 0 - 3 year of general work experience required. 1+ year prior warehouse/stocking/forklift experience preferred. Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment a plus. Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product. Demonstrated attention to detail. Forklift certification is preferred.Client Safety specification applies to all Manufacturing, Manufacturing-Combo's, Distribution/Sales Centers, Fleet and Warehouse facility areas. Temp Laborers don't have access to the order shoes from Lehigh. All footwear MUST be Puncture Resistant (Kevlar Bottom).All footwear MUST have a Class 75 Protective Toe (Steel or Composite Toe)All footwear MUST have slip-resistant soles that meets requirements.Proper safety footwear is required (steel toe, puncture resistant sole, and provide above the ankle protection) as specifically stated below:Foot Protection Provide ANSI Z41-compliant or local country-equivalent protective footwear. Safety Footwear Specification: Puncture Resistant (Kevlar bottom); Class 75 protective toe; Slip-resistant soles that meet Mark II LS-oily/wet test at .35/higher and a minimum of 6 inches or higher.Education: High SchoolCertification: Forklift certification
