The company specializes in the production and marketing of high purity kaolin and gel quality attapulgite clay minerals for fiberglass, concrete, plaster, paints, rubber and agriculture industries.Essential Functions:* Read and interpret packaging work orders.* Inspect loads to make sure it matches work order and bill of lading* Pre-operational checks on equipment at the beginning of each shift.* Operate stretch-wrap machine.* Operate forklift as needed to move pallets, bags or clean up hopper.* Housekeeping around work area to include sweeping the warehouse.Job Requirements and Skill Sets:* Effective communication, both written and verbal.* Must be able to work individually and in a team atmosphere.* Strong moral and ethical standards.* Must be able to operate forklift.* General working knowledge of MSHA Safety requirements.* Respirator Fit Test is required at hire; no facial hair can interfere with the seal of the respirator at pre-hire and annual fit test screening.Working Conditions/Environment:Work is performed in a production environment. Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb up to 70 feet. Able to operate hand and foot controls simultaneously. Manual dexterity required for operation of hand controls and/or computer keyboard.
