Forklift Operator - Employers Overload : Job Details

Position Overview:The Battery Sorter is responsible for various tasks related to the recycling of batteries, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality output. This role involves setting up and operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety regulations. We emphasize employee development and provide opportunities for training and growth.3rd shift - 10pm - 6:30am M-FDuties and Responsibilities:Prioritize Health & Safety by following all policies and processes and consistently acting in a safe manner.Daily setup and operation of equipment.Operate equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Maintain and clean the filter press while wearing a respirator.Adjust equipment to enhance performance as needed.Operate a forklift to move finished products.Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.Clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area.Qualifications: - Forklift ExperienceFrequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with assistance from a team member.Knowledge of machinery and tools.Must be able to wear a respirator.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Lockout/Tagout experience.High School Diploma or GED.Employers Overload is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
