Job Posting: Sit Down Forklift Driver

Position: Sit Down Forklift DriverPay Rate: $18.50 per hourFranklin, TN

Job Summary:Join our team at Kelly as a Sit Down Forklift Driver in a manufacturing environment. We are seeking candidates with at least 6 months of experience operating a forklift or a valid forklift certification. As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials within our facility.

Schedule:

• 1st Week: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• After the first week: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas using the forklift.
• Stack and organize products in designated areas.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing environment, or a valid forklift certification.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift, including loading, unloading, and stacking materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical stamina and the capability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
