Forklift Operator - Post Holdings : Job Details

The forklift operator is responsible for safely transporting product and materials within the plant. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes the forklift check list before beginning operation of the forklift. Maintenance work must be done immediately, if major problems arise, contact the supervisor. Assists in setting up the processing area. Assists in ensuring proper egg rotation to maintain up-to-date inventory and usage. Transports products and materials to and from the production area. Assists in the cleanup of the production area. Responsible for helping loaders when needed (plant).
