Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of products to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. The operator will ensure all products are free of damage and properly recorded, and will be accountable for the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of customer products.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to store, ship, and receive products accurately.

• Check and count all products to ensure they are free of damage and properly recorded.

• Ensure the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of customer products.

• Support various locations based on business needs.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and write in English.

• Team player with good communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Previous forklift experience preferred.

• Forklift certification preferred.

• Ability to work well with others.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Prompt regular attendance.

• Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to lift or transfer 530 lbs. constantly; 3150 lbs. occasionally; 51-60 lbs. rarely.

• Background check, physical, and drug screen required.

• Experience with material handling, picking, loading, RF scanners, packing, warehouse inventory, sit down and stand up forklifts, pallet jacks, order picking, unloading, production, shipping and receiving, and reach trucks.

Work Environment

Work in a clean warehouse that can be warm in the summers and cold in the winters (45 degrees). The environment is fast-paced, and employees are expected to wear warehouse-appropriate attire, including closed-toe and closed-heeled shoes. Shift hours vary and include options for day and night shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
