Job Description HIRING IMMEDIATELY: FORKLIFT OPERATOR IN JOLIET, IL Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for highly skilled forklift professionals to join our client in Joliet, IL. The position of Forklift Operator will be responsible for palletizing, loading/unloading, stabilizing, and managing freight within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate a forklift and will have previous experience working in a warehouse setting. • Starting at up to $19 to $20.75/hour, paid weekly

• Hiring immediately in a Joliet, IL warehouse setting

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials from vehicles, onto conveyors, or to and from designated areas
• Moving materials around the facility using pallets and crates, or stacking them in storage bays
• Checking loads: Ensuring loads are secure, centered, and properly stacked
• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance, and identifying when repairs are needed
• Following safety regulations: Adhering to health and safety regulations and company guidelines
• Keeping records: Completing forms and maintaining accurate production records and reports of issues
• Other tasks: Rotating stock, identifying damages, and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies

Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience as a Material Handler is preferred but not required
• Must be able to operate a stand-up / sit-down / reach truck or cherry picker forklift
• Previous warehouse worker experience is a plus
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized work area at all times
