Title: Forklift Operator (Seasonal)

Work Location: Vero Beach, FL

General Function

Responsible for the transportation of goods and products around warehouses and building site utilizing a forklift.

Identify, locate and store / pick pallets of products in racking systems, loading and unloading trucks, obeying all safety regulations and keeping the facility in good order.

Will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence, attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items, both by hand and with lift trucks.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Keep product organized in warehouse and racking system.
• Inspecting lift truck daily for mechanical and safety deficiencies.
• Any other duties assigned by department supervisor.
• Identifying and reporting workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• Must have minimum 1 year of forklift experience
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Good organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to adhere to seasonal production schedule
