Forklift Technician II - Peoplelink Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Forklift Technician II Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Springdale, AR within the storage industry. Forklift Technician II Job Summary:

• $25/hr - $27/hr
• Train days for 90 days, then 3 pm - 11:30 pm
• Perform routine and complex material handling equipment repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the warehouse
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment and other powered industrial equipment as assigned
• Inspect forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA and operational standards
• Tests, maintains, and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters and other test equipment
• Rebuild and replace major components (mast, undercarriage, transmissions, engines/motors)

Forklift Technician II Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 4 years of maintenance experience including 2 years of material handling equipment
• Formal MHE technical training such as Hyster, Crown, Toyota or Raymond preferred
• Knowledge of CMMS (SAP preferred)
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to pass a physical and respiratory exam
