Forklift/Warehouse - NESCO Resource : Job Details

Warehouse AssociatePay Rate: $16/hrMonday - Friday; 7:30AM - 4:00PMSummary:

• Pick cases of product from the warehouse, and prepare them for shipment.
• Collect and organize customer orders and ship them via small parcel or LTL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products by matching item numbers, product descriptions and recording lot numbers on the pick sheet
• Hand shrink wrap customer orders weigh (pallet) and move completed order to the loading dock staging area using electric pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment
• Report all product discrepancies or quality issues to supervision including damaged product or equipment issues
• Place single packages and/or bags of labeled spices into boxes for small parcel shipment
• Tape packed boxes or cases sufficiently for shipment
• Use of ERP system to select allocate and fulfill to remove product from inventory
• Process orders through the FedEx or UPS small parcel system
• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean environment to include general housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
• Ability to read and communicate in English to warehouse staff or other departments
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and other related software

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Physical Demands:

• Standing for up to 6 to 8 hours
• Bending and light to heavy lifting
• Repetition of tasks
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbsunassisted Working Environment
• Climate controlled manufacturing environment
• Exposure to airborne particles
