Formulation Chemist - Epoxy & PU Coatings

About the Role:

Are you a motivated Chemist looking to kickstart your career in the coatings industry? Our client, a dynamic privately owned company in Houston, TX, is seeking a Chemist to join their growing team. You'll be instrumental in developing innovative Epoxy and Polyurethane-based coatings for corrosion control applications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in formulating high-performance Epoxy and Polyurethane coatings for corrosion control
• Work closely with experienced Chemists to learn new techniques and processes
• Contribute to the development of new product lines and process improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to industry standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the coatings industry or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
